I freelance as a mechanical design engineer in Germany. For a product that I want to bring out of my own (a Solar PV Genset) I need some simple electronics developed and a software program to run it on.
We´ve already started and the PCB schematics is quite advanced, but I don´t really have the electronics know-how or the time to learn to finish it, so I´d like to give it to an expert. However, I´d like to be able to make small modifications myself in the future so the software, Schematics and Layout should be in a format I can work with (KiCAD and Arduino IDE are the chosen tools).
We´ve made a stripboard prototype which partially works, and in the next step I´d like to order some production boards (maybe one to five) for our first prototypes. We´ll order the boards ourselves and solder on the components here in Germany.
Basically the board has to be able to sense some parameters (current, voltage, temperature), do some calculations and display an output to a screen. It also has to be able to power on/off an external load.
The deliverables we expect are:
*Updated KiCad Schematic sheet
*KiCAD PCB Layout that we can use to order prototype boards
*An arduino program that we can install on the PCB and make sure that everything works as expected
The project input we will give (after signing an NDA) is:
*current KiCAD project status
*Spec sheet for the hardware
*Spec sheet for the software
*Some pictures to help put things into context
After the first deliverables we expect to have ongoing work on this and similar projects which we would be happy to work on at a per-hour basis.
To complete this project you need to be relatively proficient with KiCAD and good at programming in C++ / Arduino.

I am an experienced electronic engineer with solid programming background. I am interested in working with you on this project. Please contact me. Stay tuned, I'm still working on this proposal.
Hi i am trying to get more skills so this could be a good chance so i am not looking so much o the price right now but the delivery time strongly depends on the project complexity
