We are looking for a windows console application developer for Electronic Program Guide file conversion. This project is to convert an XMLTV file ([login to view URL]) to a vendor specific JSON file. JSON specification will be provided to successful applicants (Overview below). Programming language to use Microsoft Visual Studio / scripting. The resulting file is to be sent by FTP to a host on the internet. The program is to be run by windows scheduler at regular intervals with command line or ini file parameters to be passed. Previous XMLTV / EPG experience highly advantageous. Australian TV location necessary for testing. Output sample. =============== ... Hello Does my app have to send output json file with ftp, or do the convertion only? I didn't work with XMLTV format yet, but looking at documentation, it's just a XML with specified tags, so i can say i have experience needed. I make convertion tools all the time, various formats.
