Dear Sir,
My name is Mustafa Elnaquib, I'm a biomedical software engineer for more than 10 years.
Relevant work experience;
doing C/C++ on Linux for Linux for 18 years now
worked extensively with xlib for many tasks like recording events, detecting configuration, ...
good with Linux APIs, system calls, multimedia APIs, etc. using C, C++, Python,...
good knowledge with helper tools; xinput, xwininfo, wmctrl, ... I understand these are xorg specific though
worked with X, linux framebuffer, directfb etc, in different low level projects; Patient monitors, TVBoxes, etc.
I realize wayland has a different architecture, non the less being exposed to lowlevel api gave me a good idea about what it does, and how it should be implemented;
quick question, about using only c99, why not glibc, GObject? I have no problem working with just c99, and I have no problems maintaining old and large legacy code bases
Looking forward to hear more about this feels really exciting :)
Mustafa Elnaquib.
