I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate and looking for a utility program that runs in the background and does the following:
When the down arrow is pressed, send the key press signal to the active application as usual, but then send a key up signal after X milliseconds.
When the down arrow is actually released, send nothing.
X should be a value that I can change, perhaps with a command line parameter when starting the utility.
The point is to "trick" the active (full-screen) application into thinking the down arrow was pressed for X ms whenever I press it.
An AutoHotKey script would also be acceptable.
