Sql / ASP

Looking for quotes for a small SQL database with ASP query and admin functionality. 1. SQL. a) db will contain vacation rental home data: house name, unique id, calendar availability, rate data (nightly and weekly costs). b) Phase II of project will add cleaning date at end of client stay, maintenance block dates, etc (phase II is NOT budgeted currently). 2. Calendar Page or Pages (ASP). a) Query db(on page load) and create a calendar page illustrating either individual vacation rental home calendar or one page listing all vacation homes with respective availability dates (like a spreadsheet view - flexible on this requirement as to whether to use a single page or individual pages for each vacation home) 3. Reservation form (ASP). a) Based on home selected and date range (less than 6 nights would be nightly rate, 6 or greater nights would be weekly rate) sql query would populate a calculable rate field (dollar amount) on the Reservation page. b) Flexible on phase I requirement: Could use a single rate or lookup actual rates (based on selected dates) to calculate the total cost. c) Rate is based on either a nightly rate (less than 6 nights in date range) or a weekly rate (6 nights or greater in date range). Rate for Cost (less than 6 nights) = nightly rate x number of nights + number of guests over 4 x 10.00/night + tax + reservation fee) AND the deposit amount (30% of total cost + $55.00 fee). Rate for Cost (6 or more nights) = weekly rate + number of guests over 4 x 10.00/night + tax + reservation fee). d) The deposit amount is illustrated BELOW the TOTAL cost from above. It is calculated as 30% of total rate with taxes + $55.00 fee). e) We currently have a Reservation form which uses CDONTS to send Reservation form data via email. This same form will be edited to include this new functionality. The newly edited page will send (CDONTS) new data as well as "RESPOND" via a "THANK YOU" page to the client the total amount to be charged and the respective deposit amount mentioned above. d) NONE of the calculable data is stored in the db - that would be a phase II project. e) Phase II would include CALLING an API (provided by credit card gateway) to run credit card transaction for DEPOSIT amount specified above. Example (needs to be in a table format for readability - not like below). $ Amounts should be right justified. This information would be BELOW the information provided by the client. The client should be able to MODIFY entered data (above this area) using the same fields originally used (change dates, cabin selected, etc.) Cabin Selected: Amazing Grace Date: 7/1/2009 - 7/8/2009 (7 nights) Rate: $2100.00 (weekly rate) Guest charges: $140.00 (number of guests over 4 x $10.00/night) Tax: $224.00 Reservation fee: $55.00 Total: $2519.00 Deposit: $794.00 (amount charged to your card today) Balance: $1725.00 (charged to your card 15 days prior to arrival) 4. Admin page, vacation homes (ASP). a) Create, edit, and delete vacation home data: cabin name, unique ID (auto generated), address, rate schedule (5 seasons each have a nightly rate and weekly rate which varies per vacation home). b) Rates vary based on the calendar day. Would like to be able to select dates to edit rates based on a "CALENDAR VIEW". Select individual days, week, weekend, or entire month if possible. b) Page needs password protection 5. Calendar page (ASP). a) Reserve and Un-Reserve dates for respective vacation homes. Would like to be able to change the status of dates (reserve, block, open) based on a "CALENDAR VIEW". Select individual days, week, weekend, entire month through a CALENDAR view as well as specify by entering arrival/departure dates in respective fields. b) Phase II - data in this table would be populated by Reservation form, but Admin functionality through an "admin" page would still be required. C) Page needs password protection. *** Notes *** 1) Site is currently ASP. Would consider .Net if needed for this functionality. If switching to .Net we would provide current asp and html pages for inclusion in build process. 2) Load script. Require a script to create db with sp's (need to verify with Godaddy hosting to determine access rights first). 3) Backup script. Require a script to backup data (need to verify with Godaddy hosting to determine access rights first). 4) Site is hosted by Godaddy with ability to support 1 MS Sql db 5) Phase II (not currently budgeted) will include customer and vendor data along with a number of respective reports
