I am a published author with a literary style that attracts readers. I enjoy writing stories that bring characters and world to life ranging in genre from Urban Fantasy to Horror. Below is an example of my writing:
Arrielles’ eyes opened, taking in the darkness around her. Slowly she sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as they adjusted to the darkness. She was in Benjamin’s guest room, clothed in the gown on the candy maker’s late wife. Silently, she crept from the bed and dressed in her usual garb, wrapping the cloak across her shoulders. Neatly folding the gown, she opened the door and walked into the shop. Fein was curled up in one of the large chairs that sat in the middle of the shop, asleep from where he had been waiting for Benjamin to return. She covered him with the blanket that had fallen to the floor and went to the shop door to find it locked.
Muttering a simple spell in the Forgotten Tongue, she unlocked the door and locked it again behind her as she stepped out into the street. The town of Lithymnova seemed naked with the absence of the bustling crowds of people and an eerie wind howled through the streets. Swiftly, she made her way down the streets, her long hair flowing behind her. Even in the absence of moonlight, the town was lit up in her gaze, thanks to one of her many Gifts. As she neared the exit to the quiet town, she heard the howl of a dying man coming from the opposite direction. Curiosity grasping her, she silently headed toward the sound.
