TCS ,Infosys and Wipro retain the top three positions in the list of Indian IT companies by virtue of export revenue. This is as per a survey conducted and published by NASSCOM , The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) which is a trade association of Indian Information Technology(IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. Established in 1988, NASSCOM is a non-profit organisation.
But the same body warns of losing business to rising Indian Rupee. IT analysts are quick to jump the gun to point fingers at a rising Indian rupee and a “protectionist” Donald Trump. Some people criticize the Indian IT companies for letting wads of cash idle with them, thereby not investing any money in research and development and thus losing out to global peers. Some people are glad that they are saving money and giving out dividends to shareholders.
