6 page project that considers the use and repetition of an important word that appears in John Lyly’s Euphues: The Anatomy of Wit. It should discuss the meanings that Lyly produces by repeating a single word in two different contexts. How does this word heighten, evolve, degrade, etc? Project should establish and discuss that significance. Word should appear multiple times in the text, and project discuss in detail at least two instances of it. Project should make use of relevant definitions from the Oxford English Dictionary and be an argumentative claim. Demonstrate how meaning develops through word choice, how a single word brings meaning to a literary text.
