Pedestrian tracking system using IMU Fusion (also known as Pedestrian Dead reckoning PDR)
Given some IMU data and magnetic campus data, this project will develop Pedestrian Tracking System (also known as "Pedestrian Dead-reckoning" PDR). The data can be given in any of the following ways:

The implementation can be done in any of the following ways:
1) MATLAB code
My prefernece of algorithm is based on Kalman filters.
The goal of the project is to create a working code/algorithm that will detect the position of the pedestrian/ predict the objects location using the data given in the link: [login to view URL]
In the dataset above, the data for magnetometer, gyroscope and accelerometer are given to detect the pedestrian steps, direction and location.
My preference is to create a working code to find the position of the object for the given data using Matlab but if you can do it on any other Software platform, do let me know.
I also need an explanation of the algorithm created to understand how it was made.
