Need two animation characters

I want to create 2 characters. Would like to see some samples, ideas and ROUGH ideas. Broadly this should be a Salesperson and a Buyer - 2 cartoon, 2D persons. More emphasis on the face and expression. VERY SIMPLE. Once we have the above 2 characters, I want to start thinking animated GIF's, animated stories, using them in all communications. The basis for video Augmented or Virtual add-on to video footage etc. I want the idea, concept, design, character outline etc. established quickly. Thinking more about it, is to have 2 characters, generic that can be used for a lot of 2d, basic animation or just positions, have simple animation with voice-over. BE ABLE to create a lot of VIDEOS with this once it's available. However the characters need to be maintained over time. They could be used in stand-alone GIF's, just static put together in a position, used with a POWER POINT presentation (can be made into a video with transitions). Use in products like "Powtoon", or even made 3D, live animation etc. later. The last will take more time and money, but I'm trying to establish the characters. To make it easier, The ATTACHED I can buy online, which could also be a starting point if we have identified 2 characters, buy them and then build from there. For this I would like to have a person.
