Need a mobile app where user will be able to login with their google account. After logging in, they see a Punch In button. Once user clicks on punch in his co-ordinates will the pushed to server via api call. And then continously needs to keep pushing the co-ordinates every 5 mins. If GPS location is off, log still needs to be pushed with co-ordinates "unknown". If internet connectivity is missing, then store the logs locally and then push the logs once internet is up. Once user is done with work, he can click on Punch Out, post which the tracking needs to stop.
