The project is to setup and configure a HL7 FHIR Server to Datastore on Azure platform as a research project. The main tasks are: 1. Configure and set up data store on Azure and import FHIR format patient data provided to the database. Our preference is AZURE COSMOS DB, however Postgress is acceptable. 2. Configure and set up HAPI HL7 FHIR (ST3) on Microsoft Azure with the database in step 1 as the datastore. Our preference is HAPI FHIR server on AZURE COSMOS DB. However, HAPI FHIR server on PostgresL on Azure is an option we will consider. 3. Set up and configure AZURE API GATEWAY to expose FHIR server to other applications that need to consume and interact with the assets in the cloud 4. Build a simple one screen app to search for a patient in the data and display data relating to the resources as a list via API Gateway .
