Add custom code to wordpress

I would like to add a small custom code to my website.
This code is to extract some data from the Wordpress Database and send it to an external database which is not on the same server.
This custom code ( in php ) will execute 3 queries to extract the data . the result of these queries will be inserted into another distant DB.
I need to use a simple way to be able to update this custom code.
Ideally, i'm looking to schedule this custom code to be run automatically , so if you know how to do it , it would be great.
