Steden Farm ALPACAS wants a W3C standard, Web 2.0 compliant site optimized for SEO using tableless CSS design with user content managed through a Joomla interface. The site must have limited flash /shockwave with optimization for dialup connections for user of both Firefox and IE. The site will be limited to maybe 5 pages in the beginning including a blog page for user participation and a free screensaver giveaway page. The intent of the site at this time will be education, but must be scaleable for future expansion into an alpaca showcase featuring photos, articles and pedigrees. The initial target audience is in the United States, but there may be interested viewers in other countries including New Zealand, Australia, Peru, and the United Kingdom. The go-live date is the week of March 19th .

most all of the sites I make use Joomla CMS seemlessly with a custom template I design. This is my best area because I also code using XHTML transitional and CSS that is valid and checked by w3C online tools. I am a graphic designer so I also know what looks good. I am glad you chose Joomla because the system is very easy navigate and the website "upkeep" is low. It also allows for RSS feeds on news sections and easy syndication. SEO would be easy, It involves using meta tags on the web pages that contain keywords of the content, which even the web admins can do. If you want to increase your page rank for say... Google, then that would involve linking to your web page from other high rank sites (which i can do also :).
