I have a project which has been started but due to having 4 other projects on the go, need to outsource to a professional and Talented coder/designer.
I have a tight budget for this, so please be competitive with your bids. I am also up against a tight timescale for this, so it must be completed within 2 days Max!
Please dont ask for 50% upfront or anything like that as ive had issues with escrow before so payment will be made 100% once the project is completed, and my customer is happy. If you dont like this please dont bid.
I have already designed the site in html and CSS in a template format as the site uses PHPwcms Content Management System. There are two main parts to this project which i would like you to complete:
(1) The site is fully designed with all images and layout done but its been done with absolute positioning with CSS. I would like the sites CSS to be re-coded (and HTML if needed) to allow it to make pages on the fly with no problems. Currently there is a page height issue because of the CSS absolute positions doesn't support 100% height so the page height needs to be manually set meaning my customer could not use the CMS side of the site as the page layout height will not adjust to the amount of content.
So for the above, in short you will need to recode the sites CSS to allow the page layout to adjust to any amount of text on the page making sure its a excellent standard of CSS.
(2) As the site uses PHPwcms to control the content, it controls all the pages of the site. Aswell as this i would like articles to be added to some pages. The article title should show as a sub-title on the left navigation menu. e.g. "Case Studies" and under that in a smaller link "article name". This should link to the article. (This part is already setup in the system but may need tweeks to make it run as above with correct text sizes and layout)
The part of this which needs work is the aricle feature (I have a link to a website which i want it to look like). Basically i would like all the articles which are part of a page e.g. articles under "Case Studies" to appear at the bottom of that case studies page aswell as the side menu as discussed above. It should show a preview of the articles under each other at the bottom of the pagea which have articles. Displaying the Article title, a sample of the first 150 words in the article and then the date it was added below that. When you click the title it links you to the article page.
These articles should display on the bottom of each page which has them, some pages may not have them at first but may be added over time as the site builds up. So it has to be fully run from the admin system of the PHPwcms software. This should be pretty simple as it just uses the current article system in phpwcms. To give you an idea of the layout will be, the side menu with look like this:
Home
Services
- Design (THIS WILL BE AN ARTICLE LINKED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE)
Case Studies
- Project 1 (THIS WILL BE AN ARTICLE LINKED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE)

Any questions about the above, please let me know.
