Need someone to review and correct a section of CSS code for one of our websites. Part of the CSS code uses @media to detect screen resolution and resizes and changes layout accordingly. It works well in Firefox and Safari (PC and Mac), just fine on iPhones, but the dropdown menus break under IE6 - IE8. The whole nav menu and div layout breaks badly with Camino (Mac browser).
Ideally, you would repair the @media part of the CSS code to allow for proper display in Camino and IE6, and correct the dropdown menu in IE8.
On my own, I've narrowed down the source of the Camino display issue to the @media part of the CSS code. I cannot, however, figure out what needs to change to make Camino happy while leaving other browser output alone.
Think you can help solve this one? I hope so!
A sample html file is attached (CSS included), along with a few annotated screenshots.
P.S. From what I can tell, it seems that Camino is picking up part of the @media code and is displaying as if it was an iPhone or other small-screen mobile device (see navBottom). But the rest of the page is trying to display like a regular full-sized browser.
