Booklet and Page Layout Design

This Bid Request is for a Page Layout design. The subject of the page layout design is a very small marketing piece. It is a booklet that is just a few pages long. However, I want the design to be very slick, very high end corporate. The destination for the employment is Chicago, Illinois, USA. With that in mind, the author of the piece (not me) included little side-facts. My intention was to use these side facts as breakout text. I am thinking that there should be a nice cover, perhaps with the city or skyline as a faded image set as the background, with a stylized title on top of that. On all the right hand pages I want the body of text, the main text. On the left hand page I want the break-out text, the little facts and other info, but I want it in a nice, stylish, layout, with or without graphics, in a box or not, with or without photos, does not matter, as long as it is done well. I only want to stick to the main text on the right hand page and the left hand page used for photos and breakout text. Audience for this piece are people considering coming to work at this company. The booklet should make them want to come and work for my client. Please do not assume my suggestions are what I am looking for, I am only describing what I was going to do. The enclosed file is NOT my work, it is my client's work. DO NOT limit your design concepts to what I have written, I want YOUR ideas, which is what I am paying you for. It is very important that your bid includes samples of PAST work that match the same type of bid as this bid. Lastly, the layout MUST be something that I can EDIT in PageMaker 7.0, and the graphics, if any, MUST be something that I can edit in CorelDraw. Thanks for your time. ## Deliverables (A) Final design must be in a format that I can open and edit in PageMaker 7.0. (B) Final graphics included, if any, must be in a format that I can edit in CorelDraw. (C) Any photo images used must be royalty free and must be in a format I can edit in Photoshop. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform PageMaker 7.0, CorelDraw 10.0.
