Bilingual Virtual Assistant to ensure consistency between American English & Native French

The French capital is Paris. Hello. Thank you for inviting me to your project. I am French, and have been living in South Africa since 1994. I do not normally do VA work. I tried a few times, but the time difference with the employer made things very difficult. I am GMT+2 and work odd hours, I don't have a problem being online when required as I spend an average of 18 hours a day at my computer anyway. The bulk of my work is translation, but I also write articles on various topics. I stopped writing articles a while ago because the translations took too much of my time, but if writing is part of a broader range of tasks, I am happy to do it. I have written articles on weight loss (in French) and various other topics. Unfortunately I cannot send you samples of this work as I signed an agreement with the employers. I am however prepared to do a (reasonable) sample for you. I see that you require US English. Not a problem, I am flexible :-) US, UK, South African English, Canada French, etc... are not a problem. I regularly proofread, coordinate, and train a small team of translators for subtitling projects. I am used to proofreading, and spot errors, whether they are grammatical, context-related errors, or typos. I am used to check source language accuracy as well. My main tool for translation "judgments" is common sense. English is not my first language. However I can guarantee correct and accurate writing in my native language with a very good understanding of English. I have a high level of English, which I improved by living in the UK for 4 years.
