I have developed an SMTP server software which i like to know if it works with Exchange 2007 SMTP Send Connector. The first part of the test requires you to setup a few members on Exchange (or active directory), assign them to an Exchange distribution list (containing at least 2 members), and then setup an SMTP Send Connector (which connects to my SMTP server). You will then send the Exchange distribution list to this new SMTP Send Connector. Here's an tutorial showing the same test performed using Exchange 2000: [url removed, login to view] Note: You will not be required to setup my SMTP server (i will provide the ip address for you to connect through via the Internet). You will also need to setup another (a second) SMTP Send Connector that connects to a generic ISP SMTP mail server (i will provide an ISP mail account), and then you would add an additional email account to each member, assigned to this 2nd SMTP Send Connector. As such, the distribution list should contain members with 2 email accounts (each assigned to a different SMTP connector). Once that is done, you will test if Exchange can successfully send to all the receipients and smtp servers. When the test is successful, you will duplicate the test again, and then do screen captures for each part with simple one sentence explanation, on a Word Doc. The actual configuration task should be done in less than 30 minutes, assuming you are an experienced in Exchange 2007. If the test is not possible, you are to let me know if accepting the job. Thanks.
