I have a clinical database that needs to be completed and then enhanced. Its a fairly comprehensive application storing neurological records for a clinic in Sydney.
The first section of work will be focused on bringing it to feature parity with an existing system. The current version of the code is sitting at about 80% of the actual expected functionality but there will be a steep learning curve as the data is very domain specific.
There is an overall style already built and most components of the forms have been decided on so the majority of the 20% left is more backend and controller work. The project will be split into discrete stages based on specific features.
Technology wise, the database is PostgreSQL and the font end is a custom css framework written in SCSS. The MVC tier is Ruby on Rails. A file store that backs on to windows filesystem will need to be built into it as well. There may be some work required during the installations to get this to work which is why I have based the job in Sydney.
