Create a Simple Media Player Based on an Open Source

An open source media player for windows OS. Must have a unique design (it can be really simlpe). Examples of similar products, all based on open-sources: "Uplayer", "Kantaris", "UMplayer", "Total Video Player", "KMplayer" etc... You can use any language and any library that you are comfortable with, as long as it's a GNU/GPL licence (sourceforge, gnu, vlc). The project has 3 requirements: 1. It has to be fast. 2. It has to be cheap- this is a pretty simple task if you've done something exactly like this before, leading me to the most important requirement: 3. YOU'VE DONE SOMETHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.
