Artificial Intelligence:Detecting the disease using Symptoms

I have made one that takes in the symptoms of heart disease like blood pressure level! cholesterol level etc, and tells me with 99.4% accuracy what the diagnosis is years in advance. My second one uses back propagation neural networks and can predict a disease years ahead using a couple of dna codes with 94.3% accuracy. Hi, I'm a computer engineer doing my masters degree. My research area is Machine Learning and Data Science. I've implemented prediction systems on different datasets using Python, Pandas, Scikit-learn. I have a few questions regarding the project. 1) Data Do you have a dataset which has symptoms and disease output for that combination of symptoms? Because we need a good dataset for this project. 2) Bayesian network requires an expert on the domain. To create a bayesian network, there has to be an expert on the domain which is proficient for creating the network. For example a group of doctors which know what kind of symptoms can lead to diseases. If that's not available, I recommend using other machine learning algorithms for this project. 3) Libraries Are we allowed to use libraries for machine learning algorithms or do we have to write them from scratch? I have expertise in R an excel and can do clustering-K means and heirarchial and classification ,PCA on clinical data to gain insights. Hi I work in the field of machine learning and the problem you are discussing is quite explored. you can use several other machine learning methods like SVM, ANN or even regression to come up with a good prediction system. What kind of data you have and what is the scope of your project? Reagrds

Hello Senior CS undergrad. Currently involved in machine learning research at IIT Bombay. Have done multiple courses and projects in AI and neural networks. I'd say neural networks will do the job in your case, given that you have the data of the symptoms. Anyways, programming this in python, c++ or matlab should not take much time.
