I'm working in conjunction with Falmouth University on a product that requires a digital protractor that doesn't infringe on current patents. It will have to do a simple calculation and display two readings at the same time. This will need to be miniaturised. If you google 'digital protractor rule' you should see roughly what it is we need (the digital part, not the rule itself). A prototype will be required, and files to enable mass production. This project is confidential and will need to be completed under a NDA.

Over 35 years experience as an electronic design and PCB engineer, please see my profile for more details I am not sure what the existing patents are, but I would develop this project based on standard acceleration devices to measure the angle. I have just recently completed a project that measures the angle of a laser light. I could only help with the PCB and not any of the mechanical or enclosure issues. I have BS, MS and PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from one of the most reputable universities in Turkey and have 15 years of analog and microcontroller based systems design experience (both hardware and firmware) and 5 years of RF design experience. I am founder and manager of an R&D company focusing on analog and embedded systems design. Please note that: - prototype will be developed but its shipping cost from Turkey to your location is not included in the bid. - FCC/CE certifications are not included since even only independent laboratory testing costs exceed this bid. However, we design our products with the related EMC&LVD tests in mind so that the prototype will not be far from passing those tests after some modifications. We can, on your request, work on the certification process at an extra cost. -the requested prepayment is only for nulling the immediately taken 10% site commission. We found it necessary because of employers who disappear after awarding the project.
