curl help with Authorize.net ARB and godaddy

I am a web designer and programmer needing just a little assistance implementing a transaction to the [login to view URL] apitest server. I am using CURL and PHP and have utilized their sample code but cannot get a valid response. The error I receive is malformed url. The only change to [login to view URL]'s sample script is code from godaddy to get through their proxy server for shared hosting account. If you think you can trouble shoot this for me, please let me know. As my PHP skills are still newbie level, this could lead to additional work as I have several php projects for web apps that I will need in the next 6 months. Thanks
