Database Web development New project

I need a web site developed like a video log (Vlogging)…. Similar in the look and feel of You Tube or Video.yahoo.com. These sites are designed with simple menus. I’m looking for more robust administration that would allow users to upload videos before an administrator approved them. User login area. The winning bidder would have to have considerable command of SQL 2000 (or preferably SQL 2005) and .NET 2.0 or 3.0., CSS and XHTML. The web page would have to have the ability to dynamically create navigation menus based upon new categories being added by the administrator. After a user drilled through the categories a page with a particular video along with its commentaries would be viewed The viewing would have to be done inside the browser. The web site, database would be housed on two Win2003 servers. The program would have to have the ability to display videos from multiple remote sites. While this feature would not be immediately used it would allow us to use more cost-effective remote servers for streaming video later as the system expands. While we understand a programmer may be part-time (having a real job) we would want to see progress every couple of days. We would want to test any components as soon as they’re available. We encourage telephone calls and e-mails to kick around ideas. The programmer will be working with myself and another individual who understands programming. The actual programming code submitted will be reviewed by our senior programmer. His emphasis will be to offer suggestions and ideas. However he will also point out if things need to be reprogrammed because of their lack of robustness or introduction of serious bugs or limitations. ## Deliverables The programmer that wins the bid would have to provide a quick turnaround (30 days) to get the basics up and running so the admin and user interface would work quickly. Our position would be to continue to work with this programmer and continually tweak and add features. This is a fairly small project for now but is complicated. Our budget is small but after we get past the proof of concept stage we believe in reusing programmers that have proved themselves. This project would require a nondisclosure noncompete clause. This simply means we don’t want you telling other people about it until it’s released or discussing how it works in the background. And only that you won’t build something similar to compete with us… other than that it will not affect your programming for other people in any way. All coding needs to be original and any add-ins would need to be royalty-free. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform SQL 2000 (or preferably SQL 2005) and .NET 2.0 or 3.0., CSS and XHTML. Open to other ideas but must run in Win 2003 server
