Required: Data import from 4 XML catalogues to MySQL database. (See Attachments for XMLs, descriptions) All task have 4 milestones(after each XML catalogue import). I will accept work at each milestone completion and accept 25% of the entire payment. Data logic: (basics) Item: a product (e.g. mouse, printer)) Group: item group (e.g. Cables, Peripherals and subgroups, e.g. LDC Monitors, CRT etc.) Attribute: Descriptive attribute of an item: e.g. width, color, max. battery time etc. Vendor: Company providing the item, e.g. Acme, HP etc. Note * one group may be a subgroup of multiple groups. * one item may belong to many groups * the pictured entities are not all existing entities, there might and will be others * all necessary additional table structures should be implemented to hold the XML data Data tests: Please provide a SQL query/queries (view) for testing data import that would return all item related information from the database: * Item record itself, related attributes, groups, vendors, other related entity records may there be any Every record should have these two fields additional to the existing record fields: * import id (a key, identifying the import source and unique import number (01,02… or similar) ??" unique to every import * timestamp Log table and errors There must be a table, to log errors at import. The record holds: * erroneous record * error description (identification, to know what kind of error was encountered) * import id * timestamp An error is considered: * An item record without the mandatory attributes: o Price o Name o Group id If you encounter another error type, please add to list! Erroneous record should not be imported further. Priority of XMLs to import is as follows (staring with the highest priority, should be done 1st): 1. GNT, 2. Elko, 3. TD, 4. Acme
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
