I recommend the candidate to register in these two sites and navigate through them to get an idea of the key functionalities. A user must be able to add a new coupon manually in its own personal wallet and must be able to import coupons from another deals website (like Groupon, Letsbonus, etc...) so you need to use their APIs to connect. This is the "Link Account" function in DGR. There will be a "Refer Friends" section with rewards program: A user is able to refer a friend and obtain a reward when that friend registers and makes a first buy, Other components / elements will include: - Google maps embedding: We will need to develop a rich web front-end to display maps. - Paypal API usage: For making and receiving payments to/from users. - Facebook Platform usage: Sharing on Facebook, Likes Button and Sign-in by using Facebook. - Picture uploading/resizing/cropping - Back-office should allow to manage and organize categories, cities, order tracking, user profile/history, etc... - Languages: Front-end in Spanish (all translated texts will be provided) and Back-office will be in English. - Website should display and work properly with Firefox/Chrome/IE8+ TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS ====================== Look & Feel is a very important aspect in this project so the candidate should have a refined artistic taste and must use color, shadows and typography effectively. We like DGR very much, so graphical design should be with that style. Other requirements to complete this project are: - Strictly object oriented programming in PHP5 with MVC (CakePHP Framework or Zend is preferred, but we are open to suggestions) - MySQL experience with high volume databases - jQuery and AJAX is a must - 100% valid xHTML or HTML5 - Facebook Platform usage - Paypal API Usage - Web Designer Skills (Knowledge to visually enhance websites) LEGAL NOTES =========== 1) I (the Buyer) require complete and fully-functional working program as well as complete source code of all work done (so that I may modify it in the future). 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. If there are any server-side deliverables (intended to only exist in one place in the Buyer's environment) then they must be installed by YOU (the Seller) in ready-to-run condition. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under European Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. 4) No part of the deliverable may contain any copyright restricted 3rd party components (including GPL, GNU, Copyleft, etc.) unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the Buyer on the site per the seller's Seller Legal Agreement.
