The Project: I am building a compete broker system. Standard 3 tier model. The whole thing will be loosely based around FIX (see [url removed, login to view]) and all message passing will be based around XML (close to FIXML). The system will be written in VB.NET and C#, your chioce. All message passing will be through MSMQ and transaction based using DTC. The back end will be clustered SQL servers. Basicall the web servers talk to a middle tier and send the orders to an order router (2 for each exchange). It's actually pretty straight forward. Standardizing on FIX makes everything easier. I am looking for 1 DB person and 1-3 coders. I have quite a bit of documentation right now and have started some coding (just to test ideas out).
