computer controlled relay + audit trail

I need a software that can controlled realys lets say 4 relays via passwords. For example a persons logs on with his/her use-id and password. then tell what relay to energize (activate) answers some questions like why you are activating the relay etc. please see the website bellow . I will use a hardware that can connect to the computer via parallel or usb port. this card/hardware has 4 to 8 realys built on it. [login to view URL] so the GUI will look something like this. User name: John Doe Passowrd: password Activate realy: ___ Reason 1: ________________ Reason2: ________________ Reason3: ________________ Now this software should allow at least 20 users. Should have a audit trail meaning what time, who , which realsy etc. The hardware you see is available in usb form too, however the problem i see with USB system is that it does not have EC (error correction) so if the system locks up there will be no way but to unplug and replug the usb port. I put the 20 items in drawer1 employee one opens the drawer counts 20, system checks ok. takes 3 and tells system that 3 are being taken aways. Now system knows 17 left. Next employee opens the drawer (she does not know how many were left on the last opening of drawer) She count and the count is entered she should be entering 17, Now here the system checks with the last amount on records, if this amout does not match (to 17) a behind the scene alarm / or aduit alert is generated. if the numbers done match mening the last what comptuer thinks and the one that is being entered then there are only 2 possibilites 1. the last perons took wrong admout or entered wrong amout. 2. this person is counting the starting amout for her turn as wrong. AND BINGO.............. we have a check point!! OH and for some very special medication a co employee can sign to make sure "witness signatures""!!
