Hi, I have a Win 2003 server in a data centre. I want to enable it as a PPTP VPN server. The problem is that when I lose contact with the machine because I can no loger remote desktop (RDP). Because I don't have physical access to the machine I have to get tech support to fix it. It a real pain. I have had this exact same thing happen before with another 2003 server. As soon as you enable RRAS, you can't RDP from a remote machine, you have to be local. Is there any way to enable VPN but still use RDP direct ie outside the VPN tunnel? I need someone to give me up to 2 hours support via email & chat. You would need a permanent internet connection and Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger. I might also need help configuring the VPN. Happy bidding Lee
