Requirements:
(All Buyers and Sellers have to register or "Sign Up" before buying or selling.)
Seller-
1. Create/Upload Catalog
2. Escrow Service (the buyer releases the payment when they are satisfied)
3. Business profile includes Company Information/history, Catalog of Products/Services that can be purchased, Request Quote button and Management Team similar to this [login to view URL] (Each of these can be separated into pages and navigated by tabs at the top of the profile)
Buyer-
1. Search and browse for products and companies
2. Post, or create a reverse auction (public and private)
2. Shopping Cart
3. Compare Products/Services
4. Request quotes from Companies/Business Profile
5. Check order status/Escrow services
6. When a buyer registers they create their own Business Profile with the same features as the Seller's profile.
All transactions will be conducted through Paypal and I will charge the Seller a 7% transaction fee on the total purchase that will be transferred to my Paypal account ($100 purchase from a Buyer will give the Seller $93 to their Paypal and $7 to my Paypal account.)
These are the major features I need for the Marketplace.
I may need my website redesigned as well. I would like to convert a Wordpress blog into my actual website with these features if it necessary for my website to be redesigned.
I will need more add-on features in the future, but for now this is all I need.
