Cakepdf integration with established cakephp install

I have a working cake php install that works fine. I tried installing cakepdf to generate project based details/PDF of Crain information in a tabled format. I have the cakepdf download installed and placed in correct directory however I can not get it to generate a PDF. Pease advise.
