CRELOADED 6.15 (oscommerce mod) easy populate mod

Dear prospective freelancer, We are looking for someone who can modify the easy populate contribution within CRE Loaded 6.15(oscommerce mod). Easy populate is basically an import utility to load products, but it has many limitations. We want to streamline our process by taking a tab delimited file of about 20,000+ initial products with about 5,000 daily inventory and price updates. Easy populate cannot currently handle this load since it requires files to be 300 records each. Here is a description of the file type: --------------------------------------- - A basic easy populate file structure, but with custom headers. - First line header describing the fields. - tab delimited - last field of every row ends with "EOREOR" ( just like the easy populate file standard) Required Functionality ------------------------------------- - admin should be able to map the field name within the file with the corresponding tablename.field. Enabling the admin to modify any database [login to view URL] he wants. Once field to field mapping is set (via a seperate mysql table maybe?), the file with the structure defined above should be uploadable via the oscommerce admin section just like the current easy populate contribution. - The script should be able to recognize the first line header and convert the header names with the [login to view URL] and create a .sql file that is load ready. - The sql file should be placed within the /temp/ directory and should be downloadable via the admin section. - The sql file should generate updates or inserts depending if a particular row already exists. OPTIONAL BONUS FUNCTIONALITY: ---------------------------- A very nice bonus will be given if the script can perform the following. - setup an odbc connection with the mysql database(that can be defined) and execute the .sql file generated above immediately(upon option). - keep a history of files in a safe place that were loaded on the server with a dated timestamp embedded in the filename. This is a small project for somebody who knows what he is doing, if you do a good job we will give you a few more projects that needs to be completed. The developer will be given a development sandbox site with creloaded 6.15 installed along with ftp access. No shell access is given because our hosting does not provide it.
