I am trying to store pressure, velocity etc. in real numbers in Excel spreadsheets using Visual Basics with a time stamp. I need to update data every 30 minutes or set interval, not when data changes in the PLC. I wrote all the formulas in Excel to get the data from PLC to Excel spreadsheets. It is working. I have all the data in Row 12, and Row 11 is the heading for each column. I have some instructions in certain columns: A1-A10: Date and time; column B: PLC1 status(either 0 or 1); columns C thru G: data from PLC1; Column H: PLC2 Status ; columns I thru N: Data from PLC2. I need to copy row 12 every 30 minutes to consecutive rows. This happens if either PLC status is 1. I have a sample code that needs some modifications or a completely new code can be used.
