Custom Magento Newsletter subscription Feature Needed

We have a very detailed request for a unique newsletter subscription feature we need built. Please review the advanced description for all of the details. ## Deliverables We have a cell phone accessories store and would like to implement a feature that allows us to send out more customer relevant newsletters that ties directly to the customers phone type . When a customer makes use of the Shop by Phone feature that we already have built on our website, a small banner would appear This banner would advertise our custom phone relevant newsletters that they could opt into for future specials. The presence of this newsletter banner should be session based, in that it should only appear when 1.) A customer uses the Shop by Phone feature 2.) A customer has not yet subscribed to it - The Phone Specific Newsletter should be linked directly to what phone a customer searches for in the Shop By Phone feature. - Upon selecting a phone, a banner will appear It will be activated and appear below the My Cart banner on the right column without a page refresh, preferably with Ajax. - The Compare Items Banner should be revised to only display if a customer has chosen products to compare. It should display below the Phone Specific Newsletter if a customer has products in the compare feature. - When the Phone Specific Newsletter graphic is displaying, the standard "Newsletter Sign Up" banner should not be present** - The Phone Specific Newsletter will have a front and back image of the phone. This will require you to create an admin interface that houses all of the phone model numbers 2 corresponding fields oen for the front image and oen for the back. When the phone is selected via the shop by phone feature, the Newsletter signup graphic on the front end will populate the phone model and the back and front images uploaded for it, a blurb about receiving special offers for products associated with that phone, a field for their email address, and a submit button. - If a customer is logged in, their email address associated with their account should already be displayed in the email address field. - Similarly, once a customer has entered their email address and pressed submit, the email address should be remembered and already populated in the email address field at checkout. - When a customer subscribes to this newsletter, a small pop up should appear within the framing of the banner, providing check boxes to opt in to all of our various newsletters (phone specific, standard, any future ones). We will need 3 columns added to the newsletter subscribers table in the admin. One for Phone Specific, Standard and Future Promotions. If the user selected to be opted in to the future and standard promotional emails the column should say Yes/No, if they subscribed to the phone specific newsletter, the phone specific column should show the phone model name. - We already have a shop by phone report which allows us to see how many people have performed a search for specific phone models during a given time period, however we would like to add a column to this report for Number of subscribers, which will display the number of people who signed up for email newsletters for - Additionally, in a customer's account they would have the option to opt in or out of this particular newsletter type in addition to the standard and future newsletter separately. - If a customer search for a different phone than what their newsletter subscription is already linked to, the banner then displays again, allowing them to add the phone they searched for. (In other words, they can have multiple "Phone Specific Newsletter" subscriptions. ** Like the way the Phone Specific Newsletter will function, the current "Newsletter Sign Up" should adopt some similar functionality. Specifically.... - When a customer has not used the shop by phone feature, the standard "Newsletter Sign Up" banner should be present - If a customer is logged in, their email address should already be populated, in the current newsletter signup field. - Once a customer has entered their email address and pressed submit, the email address should be remembered and already populated in the email address field at checkout. - When a customer subscribes to this newsletter, a small pop up should appear within the framing of the banner, providing check boxes to opt in to all of our various newsletters (phone specific, standard, any future ones) - Within this pop, when checking the phone specific option, the shop by phone feature will come up, allowing them to add their phone right there.
