I have a West-Wind FoxPRO web server app running in file-based mode on Win 2003 Server, and I want to migrate to run it on IIS 7.5 Win2k8 Server R2 64 bit.
If you have experience with FoxPRO West-Wind web applications and can walk me through configuring this on a modern server, this job is for you.
The problem I'm having is that currently the /wconnect/[login to view URL] gets DOWNLOADED to the browser instead of executed on the server.
Apparently choices are to move [login to view URL] - You can move [login to view URL] to a different directory and fix all of your links to point at the new
location of wc.dll. Although this works Rick Strahl wouldn't recommend this approach.
The other method is to use some sort of script-map.
I would like to work with you on a Netmeeting/[login to view URL] type of session and pay per hour on getting this to work.
Please let me know the following:
1. Do you have experience with FoxPRO West-Wind Web Connection?
2. Do you have experience with IIS 7.5, Application Pools and configuration?
3. Do you recommend script-map or moving [login to view URL]
4. How many hours do you estimate we will need, and what is your rate for this project?
