On regular intervals (once every quarter) our development department gets a ms-word input document with a table with data describing affected interfaces for the application we maintain. We need a tool to translate / import this table to .xls so that we can use excell queries and autofilter.
In our view most easy way is to first copy the word table to a flat text file (simply use the mouse select the text and past it in a flat text file).
The excel tool (either macro or excel embedded visual basic) has to import this text file into excell.

requirements & additonal information:
* the input data itself does not have to be validated and can be considered correct
* the fields are seperated by spaces: as soon as space is encountered the field ends (no spaces occur inside the individual fields)
* as a check it may be prudent to check that every line results in the same number of fields.
* the number of spaces between fields varies and is not fixed
* ideally a dialog box will be used to identify the flat text with input file.
* generation of the input file is out of scope.
* the number of rows in the input file is small form .xls perspective (e.g. no more than 200 rows) thus not an issue
* the number of fields is small (e.g. the sample is very typical, less than 20 fields)
* the type of the fields in the output file can be TEXT (since the objective i sto be able to simple
autofilters we can keep this simple)
