Mixup with folders and files on Godaddy

Well I have a hosting account with [url removed, login to view] with one primary domain name. I purchased a new domain name and added a wordpress blog to it. I started to post in my blog with the new domain. I realized that my blog was being copied on the original domain. I called Godaddy and they said I needed to created a subfolder to separate the domains. I did that and I tried to move the files from my blog which where in the root directory unto the new subfolder. Now, neither website is working. I need helping to fix this issue and straighten out the issues of the files and folders on my hosting account. I dont know if there is a way to retain all my blog info, but that is of secondary importantance.
