CGI/PERL/javascript form validation

I need javascript validation for a web form (name, email, etc.) and CGI/PERL validation in the processing script.? The intent is to prevent (or minimize) spam from script hijacking and email injection. The criteria is as follows: Client side (HTML form) * email, name, and comment fields not empty * email is valid (contains <'@'> and '.' and has a minimum length of 6 characters * email length limitation (60 characters?) * email field does not contain line-feed or carriage-return characters Server side (processing script) * email length limitation (60 characters?) * email field does not contain line-feed or carriage-return characters I already have a working HTML form and processing script and would like to add the above functionality to them (I can send the code to you if you are interested in this project).? The coding should be very simple, however I am not familiar enough with scripting to write them, myself.
