Hi there I have a site which is a customised version of OSCommerce. It utilizes the 'download products' feature as our products are digital files. These are held on another server (media server) and functionality switched from local to remote. We currently have a feature in 'admin' to reset download link should the customer not receive the download for some reason. This is a temporary solution which alleviates small requests. I need the following functionality... When the customer clicks on the download link, it activates the download from the remote media server. I need to track whether this download completes or not. If it fails or the download is incomplete for whatever reason, then an automatic email is sent to the customer. This email needs to inform the customer that download was unsuccessful and a link to the order (as we have in our confirmed order email) is displayed. The download link needs to be automatically reactivated. If download is successful then an email is sent to customer indicating this. If we can capture log data on download and include this in the email, it would deter fraudulent customers i.e. download commence and completion time.
