Customise Blesta Module; Disable duplicate entries in just 1 field.

I require the customisation of the "universal_module" of Blesta. I require no major changes to the system as it suits my needs in almost every way. Basically I require the capability to disable duplicate entries being entered into a field. Fields within this module are all customisable, so I don't mind if the field needs to be static / permanent in order to do what is required. Alternatively if you could add a checkbox next to all fields that will disable duplicate entry, that would be even better. If someone tries to enter duplicate content into a field, a customisable error should be displayed (there is already validation handling built in so perhaps it could piggyback that).
