Booking Confirmation - repost

We run a small ferry service as well as a ticketing service for other tour operators - We are considering developing a fully online booking service.\r\n\r\nBackground Information\r\n\r\nWe run up to 6 ferry services per day to and from different destinations - Of course - Each service has limited number of seats available. Currently Travel agents that sell our tickets - only have access to a manual booking and confirmation system where they need to phone our office to check if seats are available and then phone again to confirm all [login to view URL] manual system is what we are looking to replace\r\n\r\nStage 1\r\n\r\nVarious agents sell tickets and make bookings with us - we want to build a simple interface system where agents can log in and see how many seats are still available on each service each day (we will set max number and the system will count down as seats are sold), If agent wishes to make booking on a particular service where seats are available they will enter required information and confirm booking.\r\n\r\nStage 1 assumes that the agent is already associated with us and already as a paper ticket - later stages will involve the issuing of a eticket (paperless) and online payments etc\r\n\r\nThese and other additional stages will be rolled out at a later date.
