Change Hosting

Background. We are just about to receive a significant increase in web traffic as we are going to receive some TV free coverage. Because of this, we need to move the website to a Virtual hosting in order for it to cope with the increase in web traffic at a minimum it needs to be able to cope with 5000 concurrent users. 23rd of March work Starts A. Website has been moved to virtual machine hosting and it is live. All development work is executed on this new hosting service. Project 1 is live and completed by 27th of March. 30th of March – Hosting has been moved and it set up live. Stage 1 - Copy current version of live and test websites to a Virtual Linux Machine professional addition. Stage 2- Set the live server up immediately on a Virtual Machine Hosting VPS cloud hosting where by it can handle minimum 5000 concurrent users. Once this is setup all tested and development work for Project 2 can be executed on the test site within the virtual machine hosting. The new live PerfectGift website and server needs to be able to carry 5000 concurrent users so caching of the Home page, product pages and fine tunning of the x-cart site will be necessary to make sure the site does not crash. Also would it be possible on the night to make sure someone is watching the site caches to make sure the site does not crash
