Create a modify event page from exiting component

I'm using an event component calendar that allow users to add from the website front-end their events that are displayed in text informations and on google maps. The component originally come with a powerful backend with all kind of functions, but on the frontend only with the ADD EVENT page. Nothing all. To give available the complete management for the normal registered user a php developer have already expanded the functionality of this component, with this expansion now each user can delete and suspend an event, but can't modify it because the developer was not able to solve the modification page. The add event page (the future MODIFY page) not use SQL queries directly, but use an object model that is tied to the database. components/com_eventcomponent/controllers/[login to view URL] _actionAdd() method , called when the user add a new event from the frontend The work consist to create a new function _actionEdit() to allow users to edit the event from the frontend. Please note that the EDIT function in the backend already works perfectly. Talking with other developer have explained me that the most fast solution to this problem, is to use the exiting _actionEdit() function from the backend into frontend. The Add event page and the future Edit event page, use JQUERY (i think...) to perform a query to google maps and display the location on the map in the page first to save the event that will continue to works in the same way for the editing page. The edit event page, must be a clone of the add event page, and the add event page can be used to create the new one modify page. Any other technical information will be discovered directly from the developer within the component code. Additional Project Description: Very most important: The core event component will be remain intact, no one code of coding will be modified or added, the component receive releases each week. All modification will be done only on the custom front end component that the previous developer have written. I hope all is clear. Is a really simple and fast work for a php/sql/javascript developer. I will pay only when i see that the new MODIFY page will works correctly within my website.
