Distance and bearing calculations web coding required

I need some web coding to determine the distance and compass bearing between two physical addresses. The data (addresses) will be entered into a web form and then generate a result. **** eg. 55 roady highway London (base address) 26 hill st, New York USA (destination address) The result will be x km at y degrees **** The calculation will have to be a 2 step process> 1. Determine the exact co-ordinates of the street addresses (eg 51.5001524,-0.1262362) 2. Determine the distance and bearing between these 2 co-ordinates These 2 URL's have what I need and will be useful for development.
