Project Description:
For mobile phone users:
Smartphone users from the Android system installed APP
They need to register. (We can provide more services to registered users)
They need to input their location and their destination, and other information, such as
How many people, how many luggage, car type.
The system will display the location of the drivers within the 10 MILES of the smart phone user location. (GOOGLE API and MAP)
This part of work which need to check the addresses and their GPS location
The system will confirm the location of users
Users can choose car service company or just find a driver near them.
If they choose to use car service company:
The systems receive service requests. (The company can choose to manually send a car or automatically send a car)
Auto:
Calculation address, then send Apps users a confirmation signal, and sends information to the user, such as waiting time, the price charged and the inquiry phone number from the company. (GOOGLE API and MAP)
Automatically:
The system send a confirm signal to the APPS user and send information to the user about waiting time, charging price and inquiry phone number.
The system will run to search the near driver and send a pick up request to the driver
The driver confirmed the address and request
Once the driver achieves the pick up point, it will send out a notice to the user to tell the user to get in the car.
The system will provide an inquiry phone number to the user just in case delay or accident happened.
For driver use:
Driver has a login id to login the apps.
They will receive a signal when the system sends out a job to them.
They need to confirm the job and the system need to send back a double confirm signal to the driver and then the driver can go to the location to pick up the user.
After the driver finished the job, they need to send a job finished message to the system.
User select the driver:
Users can find the latest drivers from the APP, when the user send a job request to the driver, the system will calculate the shuttle address and send message to the user, such as waiting time, the price charged and the phone number of the driver. (Using GOOGLE API and MAP), but we need to wait for the driver to confirm the work first.
System:
A system can detect driver’s location from the driver Smartphone. Once it get the user pick up request, it will calculate a near driver and charging price, then send a confirm message with time information, such as approximate waiting time to the user.
