I need a java applet coded that will utilize javascript as well as php to do the following.
Javascript will be used to detect the browser that visits the page. The page will then trigger a java applet. Javascript will then pass the browser information to the java applet. The java applet will then use that information to do the following:
It will get the cookie file of the current browser, then send that file as a POST request to a php file which will import it into a database, and then another php file which will be able to read from the database and display the results.
Most browsers like firefox, safari, and chrome use sqlite database files to store data. meaning you will need to get the java applet to POST that file to the php file where it will be imported. For internet explorer, each cookie file is stored in text files, but I am only looking for certain cookies so I will only need you to post 2-3 of the cookie files.
This is a very simple project, and shouldn't expect any complications of it. In essence all you have to do is write a small java applet that uploads the cookie file to the server. I code in java but don't have time to do this project, so I know this should be EXTREMELY simple.
I need it to work with firefox, chrome, safari, and ie for windows. Firefox, and chrome/chromium for linux. And firefox, safari, and chrome for mac.
The directory of where the cookie files are stored can be found with a simple google search.
