I want my site [login to view URL] revamped to look professional and entertain the mind while surfing it. It is important to have it orientated toward and feel like AutoCAD on the first page as I now have it with a little extra flare maybe. I prefer html, but will consider other options that will easily be edited by me, I need to have complete control over updates and content. I want to introduce 2 new areas and rework some pages of my website. First new area I want is an area for the curious prospective customer to see locations of my previous designs. This will entail is a map of the US and nearby areas including and surrounding the US Virgin Islands with blinking dots or push pins. These dots will be links to enlarge the area and zoom into the projects (may be quadrants of the actual map). Clicking a project will give all the information about it including floor plans and/or photos. The pages must load quickly; there will be a few hundred projects to start. I would like the pointer to be a magnifying glass with a bull’s eye in the middle that will activate the link (blinking red dot turns green). Second new area I want is an area well organized area to select Study Packages and purchase (floor plan and elevation sheets in pdf format). Thumbnails with square footage may be a solution, I do not want confusion like so many floor plan sites, must be straight forward. One rework task is I would like to use single sheets instead of frames so I can get better ranking in search engines. Problem is right now that some people find the pages that belong in the middle frame and forces me to have links at the bottom for surfing the site. If a single sheet were in tables, all can be duplicated in a template. Another rework task is my log in section; I need a way to encrypt user names and passwords on the fly without assistance from my ISP. I have 5 secure pages I need to give user names and passwords for. I am open for suggestions.
