I'm looking for bids for the following project:
A flash game in the general style of Tetris. At least ten kinds of 'blocks' fall from the top of the screen. Once they hit the bottom of the play area (which, as in Tetris, grows more crowded as the game proceeds and unremoved blocks accumulate), they are adjustable with mouse clicks. If the player adjusts the blocks correctly, so that they match a certain pattern, all the 'linked' blocks vanish, increasing the play area. The game is over when the blocks rise to the top of the screen.
I'm hoping to find a developer who will take my idea and present me with a polished game. I need every aspect of the game provided: art, music, and code. There's some flexibility regarding any bonus 'patterns' that are matched, and with what result (for example, matching blocks of the same color might allow the user to remove any three blocks of his choosing, or creating a particularly long pattern might spark a 'chain reaction'): I'm hoping that an experienced game design can offer advice and expertise about the details.
I’m also looking for a game that’s smooth and visually-polished, though simple, with little details like sound effects when blocks are adjusted, brief animations when blocks disappear, etc.
I do not necessarily need to acquire all rights; please tell me if you'd prefer to retain the ability to market the game to sponsors, on game portals, etc. (Obviously, if you'd want to profit from the game on the back-end, I'd hope to pay less up-front!)
Links to my website and a short ad involving an audio clip/text pop-up must be included, preferably in a fairly 'stylized' manner.
Please respond with links to previously-built games. Also, I am somewhat flexible on the budget, and not limited to the one indicated. Thanks!
