Hi, I would like a facebook application developed which allows users to record a league table for poker games. I am happy to use a developer who has no experience with writing facebook applications, as long as they have a good coder rating and good experience with the relevant stuff. However if you plan to use this project as a facebook application "learning experience" then I would expect the coder to no penalty withdraw from the project and allow me to select another coder if the project starts to run behind schedule or agreed functionality is failing to materialise. We play a poker league which has about 10 people playing an event every week or so. We are playing in series of 10 games. There are variously between 5 and 10 players at each event, and all players are invited, but often can't make it. There is no penalty for a user to accept the event, and then not turn up. Nor not accept the event, other than they don't get any points. The idea is that a facebook user with the application installed can create a new "poker league" of say 10 games, and invite facebook users to it, users who accept are added to the league table. users can be invited part way through, or users can request to join the league if it is public. Then the admin would create "poker events", which the leagues members get invited to. The game is then played at the time of the event. At the end of the event the event admin should record the finishing positions and the table can be displayed in the profiles of the facebook users. After the 10 games have been played, the winner of the league can be announced. The current scoring system is; 10 - 1st 8 - 2nd 6 - 3rd 4 - 4th 3 - 5th 2 - 6th 1 - 7th 0 - 8th plus each player gets one point for each person in the game. so last time there were 6 players, and winner got 16 points and 6th place got 8 points. The scoring system is not my idea ;-)

## Deliverables

I am happy to credit the developer and provide contact details etc in the application information. However I wish to release the application on facebook and control ongoing and further development. This obviously precludes the developer from forking the code and releasing it separately. Obviously, if you want to substantially rewrite it and release that, then that is your choice. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
